Tomas Soucek is ahead of schedule and could return in time for Wolves on Sunday week, that’s according to the ever-reliable Claret & Hugh – he was set to be out until the week after but is making a decent recovery.
What an athlete he is, just the type we’ve needed on and off the pitch.
Could this mean the end of an era, though, with Noble being dropped? Maybe it’s for the best?
Anyway, many fellow West Ham fans of Twitter have offered mixed reactions to the fantastic injury news, with some delighted that Soucek is soon to be back in the frame and others urging caution about not rushing him back.
The last thing we want to do is what we did with Fabianski earlier in the season and potentially be missing such a grafting player for the run-in.
Here’s the pick of the reactive Tweets to the update…
Don’t rush him back, please.

Great, no more noble

No need to rush him back. Play him when he’s 100% strong enough

Soucek being back fit and available for selection again will be a huge boost for West Ham – he was superb in the first half against Liverpool before his injury. He needs to come straight back into the starting line up; potentially in place of Noble.

Great. Please don’t introduce him back to first team too early! He’ll only get injured again. ⚒

Lets hope he’s not rushed back to quickly. Major link in the squad even after 3 games. Still good news… arsenal will be a tuff game
