In his first four first-team appearances, Jeremy Ngakia has averaged 3.3 tackles per match, 1.5 interceptions and 3.3 clearances.
It’s no wonder, then, that loads of fellow West Ham fans on Twitter are in agreeance about the star after being asked what they thought of him over recent games.
One of them called the 19-year-old exactly what we need in the right-back position, while another stated that he’s the best we’ve had on the right side of the defence for a long time.
Yes, Ngakia looks great but we must remember his age and lack of experience at this level and cut him the necessary slack if things do start to go wrong – he will make mistakes at some point.
But for now we can just sit back and enjoy one of our own bossing it at right-back…
