You have to give credit to the club for the way they’re trying to keep us entertained during the Coronavirus outbreak as fellow fans have been getting right on board with it on Twitter.
Every Thursday, the official account is going to be throwing it back to a classic match and living it out live – this Thursday it was the turn of Tottenham 2-3 West Ham from October 2017 for a rewind.
The only fault one could possibly find in the coverage was the fact that they simulated the match as if it had kicked off at 3pm, rather than the evening time the Carabao Cup tie actually started at.
Regardless, supporters were joining in with highs and lows of the encounter: going two down in the first half before Slaven Bilic’s boys mounted that incredible comeback for us through Andre Ayew and Angelo Ogbonna under the Wembley lights.
