Lots of fans are desperate to see Xande Silva feature for the first team as he got another goal for the U23s last Monday night.
The 22-year-old opened the scoring against Stoke at London Stadium with an absolute peach, making an electric run in behind, rounding the ‘keeper and finding the back of the net from an obscene angle – although Dmitri Halajko’s starlets could only win a point to stay three in front at the top of the PL2 Division 2.
You may remember Silva bursting onto the scene in his first season after a move from his native Portugal, finding the back of the net in seven of eight Development Squad matches and getting on in the Premier League, as well as recording an FA Cup start.
He’s had his fair share of injury worries since then, but is now back and firing with two in two to kick off his PL2 campaign, will we get our wishes and see him feature for Moyes’ side any time soon?…
Play him in the first team

Xande Silva back fit and scoring regularly for the U23 side for West Ham – he needs to feature in and around the first team matchday squads between now and the end of the season. We need as many inform players available as possible – whether they are first team or youth team.
