There are few bigger names in the world of football journalism than Henry Winter, The Times’ Chief Football Writer, and the top dog journo has become the latest to speak out on the owners.
He follows many other big names and outlets in the industry who have condemned the way the club is being run, much to the delight of fans.
Whilst Winter did argue that it’s nearly impossible for anyone not to side with us supporters in the rift with the board, he suggested that it’s possible for Gold & Sullivan to mend the relationship if they would just listen to fans.
However, some supporters disagreed with this sentiment, arguing that the relationship is now beyond repair.
One stated that nothing can be done to make things right by the two Daves with another proclaiming that the only thing they can do is sell the club and hope it recovers without them…
There is nothing they could do the heal this rift, they destroyed this club based on lies for financial gain. #GSBOUT

There is a lot off journalist now saying bad but honest things about the owners which they totally deserve and may it long continue. I think the rift is to deep to a lot off fans and cant see it changing until they sell. It worries me thru will sell to more bad owners.

It will never ever heal Henry they have desecrated the club for nothing other than pure greed.
For Gold to protray himself as a caring fan is an insult to every genuine fans intelligence.
They have to go and hopefully the club can somehow someway get back to what it was— Richard (@Richardod64) February 13, 2020
