Loads of fans on social media have been bemoaning the timing of the club’s decision to appoint two new coaches to David Moyes’ backroom staff as ExWHUemployee spoke out about it.
I think Nolan is a great appointment and my first task for him would be working with Haller & the attacking midfielders on link up play! Can’t say I had heard of Nevin before but having spoke to a few people he is meant to be very good too just a shame didn’t get them 6 weeks ago https://t.co/wlEt2vTJoh

It’s hard to disagree with the insider as Moyes has been forced to work with only Alan Irvine and Xavi Valero, leftover from Pellegrini, in his first month or so.
As one supporter suggested, Nolan, in particular, might have been able to make a difference in helping us finish off some of our recent draws, given how many he poached to pick up three points in Claret & Blue himself.
Others suggested that the appointments are too little too late with one damningly implying that the gaffer has been thrown under the bus by the board’s reluctance to bring backroom staff in.
We could well be as good as dead and buried after the next seven games unless either of the new faces can make a big difference…
It’s ridiculous we are bottom 3, playing the title holders and european champs in the next two games and have only now decided to appoint coaching staff. Why do they seem to gamble with every aspect of the club?

That’s what I was wondering, why did it take 6 weeks to appoint Paul Nevin? I hope Kevin Nolan can coach Haller how to bully Defenders and Goalkeepers.

Spot on Ex, these appointments should have been within two weeks of Moyes taking the job.
Imagine if we had Nolan kicking up the backside of the team to finish the games against Brighton & Everton?
How crucial those four points could be…

6 weeks to convince people to join the backroom staff of a sinking ship not only sums up the pulling power of David Moyes, but the circus of a club that is run by clowns
We are a laughing stock. Let’s hope the players can at least go down fighting #GSBOUT #COYI pic.twitter.com/ZBcFUm6v1g

It’s an absolute shambles Ex that it’s taken this long to appoint any staff! Regardless of what the fans think of Moysey he’s been thrown under the bus already having to work with Irvine alone for this long

Good appointment unfortunately it’s going to be too little too late now. Shame it’s the fans who pay the price
