Were you one of the fans to have had their peaceful Sunday in a West Ham-less weekend tarnished by a terrifying report from Claret & Hugh?
The insider has claimed that, if an offer of £90m or greater is received, David Moyes is ready to sanction the sale of Declan Rice this summer, regardless of whether we stay up or not.
Moyes would do this because he believes that the sale of a star player would help the squad be rejuvenated by reinvesting the money.
If we do go down, you’d feel that a player of Rice’s quality is too good for the Championship anyway and he has to think about his blossoming career, plus £90m would be a hell of a lot to play with in the second tier.
However, would there really be any reason to let him go if we remain in the Premier League? He’s still so young and as long as he’s playing at the highest level he’s bound to be developing.
Anyway, fellow fans are rightly furious after the rumour…

Why? Why sell such a great player? OK £90 million…..but we wont get that, and that’ll only end up in certain peoples back pockets, not to build up our squad.
GSB out, and Moyes too if he wants to sell Dec. Build a YOUNG squad— John Spencer (@Spencerjohn7) February 16, 2020
