Who else was rooted to the TV on Sunday afternoon doing the unthinkable? Cheering on the enemy, Tottenham Hotspur, as they did us a huge favour at Villa?
It’s a difficult thing to say, but watching Spurs was almost like watching West Ham, with all the ups and downs of that encounter. Well, apart from the winning part.
If Mourinho’s men hadn’t come away with the three points, we’d be another point shy of safety and we all know it could come down to a single point or even goal difference.
Masses of fans on Twitter have been discussing the “painful” experience of Sunday with one musing that relying on the Tottenham result is one of the joys of the next level, and another claimed that it was the first time in their lifetime that they’d cheered a Spurs goal.
The joys of the next level 👍🏻🤣

Hoping for 3-3 draw, 4 red cards and a hatful of bookings/suspensions

Problem is we are going to have to rely on everyone else because we know we cant rely on west ham. Just need to make sure us fans do our part and make the london stadium rocking. Atmosphere definitely helps players so lets be as loud as we can ⚒⚒
