Whilst things might not be going great for West Ham Women on the pitch at the moment with three defeats on the spin and no goals in almost a month, they have received some fantastic news off of it.
Grace Fisk, captured in January from the University of South Carolina, has been called up to the senior England side for the first time.
The defender has started every match under Matt Beard since she joined and will jet off with Phil Neville’s squad to the United States early next month.
This is because the Lionesses are defending their SheBelieves Cup crown, starting with initial matches against the hosts, Japan, and Spain and then hopefully onto the latter stages of the tournament.
Fisk had previously represented and skippered the nation at youth level and now she has her big chance at the age of 22, fellow fans on social media are buoyant…
