Some West Ham fans on Twitter are urging David Moyes to throw caution to the wind over Lukasz Fabianski’s fitness after he revealed that he could play against Liverpool and the decision will be made on the day.
TEAM NEWS:
Fabianski (Hip): “He’s very close and could feature. I’m going to make that call tomorrow. But he’s trained for the last few days. It would be good to get him back.
Snodgrass (Ligament): “He has trained today. We’re hoping he’s going to be okay as well.”— West Ham United (@WestHam) January 28, 2020
We all know what happened the last time Fabianski returned from injury and supporters agree that the last thing we want to see is a repeat of those scenes.
One, in block capitals, cried out for Moyes not to rush the 34-year-old back, whilst another stated that he should be saved for Brighton with defeat to Liverpool on Wednesday inevitable.
One bit of news that will give some encouragement to whoever is between the sticks at London Stadium is Sadio Mane’s absence, although no doubt someone else will step into his shoes with ease.

DO NOT RUSH FABIANSKI BACK WHATEVER YOU DO

Give Fab another week to rest so he has less chance of getting re-injured again. One game isn’t worth losing him for the rest of the season

The Liverpool game is a game West Ham are guaranteed to lose tomorrow night. Brighton, at the weekend, is a winnable game and a must win game for the club – we need to save both Fabianski and Antonio for this game as they will have a much greater impact on the team and result.

Don’t do it to Fab we don’t want him out with a bad back after fishing the ball out the net for the umpteenth time 🤦🏼♂️

I would not be risking Fabianski for tomorrow’s game!

No point might as well rest them as there are bigger games that West Ham can get points from
