West Ham fans of Twitter have been blasting the club’s Rush Green training ground facilities as the players got back down to work ahead of the Everton game.

First-team operations permanently moved to the Romford site from nearby Chadwell Heath under the management of Slaven Bilic in the summer of 2015 and have remained there ever since.

But while Chadwell Heath has undergone a huge redevelopment project for the Academy of Football, the Rush Green site remains the subject of ridicule from supporters, especially when compared to the training centres of other Premier League sides.
