It’s that time of the year when teams who are out of the FA Cup start to get the odd weekend off here and there and we’re well used to being out of the cup by this stage.
But this season the first Premier League winter break adds a new dynamic to that as attentions start to turn to what the players will be doing during their one-weekend hiatus.
The club will get the weekend of Saturday 15 February off whilst the teams that didn’t play the previous weekend will be in action.
David Moyes answered the question of what he plans to do with his players over the break in his pre-Liverpool presser last Tuesday, revealing that there’s no plans to go away but they will get some time off.
They have enough time off most weekends.
