An update from ExWHUemployee has prompted many West Ham United fans of Twitter to speculate about a new-right back for the club.
The Hammers social media legend revealed that Ryan Fredericks will be missing for four to seven weeks after pulling up with a hamstring problem at Gillingham – Ex also said that a loan will be the most likely measure taken to replace him in January.
The extent of the defender’s injury comes as a big blow to David Moyes with 34-year-old Pablo Zabaleta the only other recognisable right-back in his squad and no one wants to see Sadio Mane running at him later in the month.
As some Irons have suggested, Moyes could choose to look at the Development Squad and namely Ben Johnson to fill in or perhaps make Michail Antonio or Winston Reid into a makeshift right-back.
