Many fans on Twitter are fearing the worst following a comment from club insider ExWHUemployee saying that he thinks the club will just about stay up.
Ex made the risky prediction after being asked by a fan about the chances of survival on the night that David Moyes’ men were left level on points with Watford and Bournemouth in 18th and 19th.
It could have been worse had Tyrone Mings not netted a late winner for Villa against the Hornets, although Dean Smith’s side’s three points did move them into West Ham’s 16th spot.
With just eight points between 19th and eighth, it looks like the relegation battle could really go down to the wire this season and three points against Leicester would move Moyes’ boys three points above the drop zone.
The team is 17 points away from the magic 40-point mark and you feel will have to try to get those in the fixtures that remain against Brighton, Southampton, Newcastle, Burnley, Norwich, Watford and Villa – very little margin for error…
We’re done Ex and the blame is from the top down. These aren’t owners of a football club this is purely a money printing operation !!

Need a couple of shock result in our next 5/6 games.
I think we are down. To many injuries. No sign of new players arriving and too many creative players gone missing— Adam (@IamChadbacca) January 21, 2020
Unfortunately club left it to late sacking Pellegrini and now left it to late signing much needed reinforcements, We are gone, again! Get ready for more humiliation!!

6 wins out of 16 games. Not impossible, but the more draws the worse it gets. Moyes will make us hard to beat, but that won’t be enough.
