Many West Ham fans have voiced their disgust on Twitter after the release of the latest annual Deloitte Football Money League.

The publication has placed the club as the 18th richest in world football, a two-place improvement on last year with a leapfrog in front of and being achieved.

£190.7m of revenue was produced over the course of 2019, an improvement of £15.4m on 2018 – so why has none of it been invested in so far?

This was just one of the reasons for the anger of supporters, with one also bemoaning the lack of a proper home in which to play football and another suggesting that the reign of and Sullivan is going the way of their spell in charge of Birmingham City.

In addition, performance on the pitch does seem to be going backwards as the club climbs the charts as a business, a worrying trend.
