Many West Ham fans have voiced their disgust on Twitter after the release of the latest annual Deloitte Football Money League.
The publication has placed the club as the 18th richest in world football, a two-place improvement on last year with a leapfrog in front of Everton and Newcastle being achieved.
£190.7m of revenue was produced over the course of 2019, an improvement of £15.4m on 2018 – so why has none of it been invested in January so far?
This was just one of the reasons for the anger of supporters, with one also bemoaning the lack of a proper home in which to play football and another suggesting that the reign of Gold and Sullivan is going the way of their spell in charge of Birmingham City.
In addition, performance on the pitch does seem to be going backwards as the club climbs the charts as a business, a worrying trend.
You can see the best fan opinions on the financial report, below…
So why are we not spending this new found wealth, instead of trying to sign loans, freebies and washed up Championship players. If we are go for championship players go for young up and coming at least. Sullivan will never change he is running us as bad as they did at Birmingham.

You are correct. One of the top 20 richest clubs in the world. No real home and no money to spend on players.
I think a reaction is an understatement.

Proves what the owners are all about. In it from themselves and dont care about the club like they claim too. The sooner they sell up and go the better

Certainly not reflected by the ‘match day experience’.
Shameful.
