Many fans on social media have been slamming Jack Wilshere after his latest injury set-back was revealed by Football.London’s Sam Inkersole on Twitter.
Jack Wilshere is to undergo a hernia operation tomorrow [Wednesday] in yet another injury setback for the West Ham midfielder. No timescale on his return. 16 appearances in 18 months since signing from Arsenal. #WHUFC

Supporters did not pull any punches when reacting to the news with one calling the £100k-a-week star a “waste of space”, while another accused him of stealing a living at the club.
The last time we saw Wilshere, apart from when he was stupidly climbing in and out of a washing machine, was during the Everton defeat last October as he made his eighth appearance of the season in all competitions.
As Inkersole stated, that was the same number he made for the whole of 2018/2019, meaning that he’s earned around £500k for every time he’s appeared in Claret & Blue.
To say that fans are not happy with Wilshere would be an understatement…
