Loads of fans on Twitter are in a grave mood ahead of tonight’s dreaded midweek encounter and can you really blame them?
You’d have to go back to early 2019 for the last time Liverpool were beaten in the Premier League and that was by Manchester City.
For the last time they even failed to win in the league you have to go back to the Manchester United match last October and that’s only happened once since season.
We don’t need reminding of the peril that our own club is currently in to know that this one could end up being very embarrassing indeed.
Supporters know it too as one stated that anything better than 4-0 would be a good result to stay out of the relegation zone, while another talked of the miracle that David Moyes needs.
Yeah, for a spanking.

0-4 puts us in the drop zone. Not being in there at 9.30 tonight will be a good result. ⚒
