Tennis hero Andy Murray has delivered his verdict on ’s clash with  on Monday evening, claiming that both sides are “struggling” at the moment.

The and the Gunners both slumped to defeats in midweek, losing out to and Brighton respectively.

And Murray believes that their lacklustre form will carry over into their meeting on Monday.

Speaking to BBC Sport, he said: “They are both struggling at the moment.

“Let’s go for a draw. 1-1.”

To be fair to Murray, it’s hard to see other side winning a game at the moment, and on the basis of that, a draw seems like a fairly sensible prediction. The Gunners had a disaster on Thursday night, but don’t let that distract from just how abjectly performed against Wolves either. They may have edged possession 51% to 49%, but they also mustered just six shots to their hosts’ 13, as per the BBC. It was a huge step backwards for Manuel Pellegrini’s men after an unexpected win over Chelsea last weekend, and it suggested wholeheartedly that result was more of a fluke than a justifiable measure of progress made. Of course, anything can happen, and these two teams are in such dreadful form that one might just collapse entirely, but right now, any hopes of a West Ham win have to be optimistic at best.
