West Ham likely to reject Dyche

|

West Ham United are likely to reject the idea of hiring Burnley manager Sean Dyche to potentially replace Manuel Pellegrini, according to Claret and Hugh.

The club source claim on their website that the Hammers’ board are hurrying to find a suitable replacement for Pellegrini, who is facing the sack in the near future at the London Stadium.

Claret and Hugh report that it would take £10million to compensate for a contract for Dyche, which would also include a survival bonus on top of his basic wage.

It was suggested by ExWHUemployee that the Burnley manager approached West Ham over taking over from the Chilean in East London.

OPINION

Given that it will take a huge chunk of money to part ways with Pellegrini, it is no surprise that both David Gold and Sullivan seem against the idea of bringing in Dyche to replace him. Should they have been able to secure his services at the London Stadium for a much cheaper price then it would have been a no brainer. The Burnley boss has done amazingly well to establish the Clarets as a top-half Premier League side using his methods, and that is what the Hammers are lacking at this moment, a manager who can come in and put his tactics in place to help them start picking up points, with Pellegrini struggling to change things on the pitch right now. In any league, no wins in two months is not good enough, and if that continues the Hammers’ board will be in a position where they could be in a position where their club are managerless and they are in the market looking for the next candidate.
