Blackburn Rovers talisman Bradley Dack has taken to Instagram to send a message to West Ham favourite Declan Rice.

The young Hammer posted a photo of himself to his personal account on Sunday following England’s 4-0 win over Kosovo with the caption: “Great way to end the qualifying campaign with a win!

“Bring on Euro 2020”.

And 25-year-old Dack, who has been linked with a move to the Irons in the past, as per The Sun, responded to the post with an emoji showing a pair of hands held aloft in praise.

Random little interactions like this are always going to get tongues wagging,. Truth be told, there is every chance that it’s just a coincidence, and that Dack and Rice are acquaintances made through the footballing community, but that won’t stop some Hammers from getting their hopes up that something more is going on behind the scenes. The 25-year-old has been in impressive form, as ever, for Rovers this season, hitting five goals in 16 games from midfield, and averaging 2.1 shots and 1.1 key passes per game, as per Whoscored. He is a vital cog in Blackburn’s side, and there are more than a few who believe he could make the step up to the Premier League. If the price was right, and if his current crop of midfielders don’t pull their acts together soon, then Pellegrini could do worse than rekindling his reported interest in the playmaker.
