West Ham youngster Mesaque Dju uploaded a teasing Instagram post about his ability with him telling people they don’t know what’s coming.

The 20-year-old attacker told people to “just wait” on his personal Instagram account alongside a picture of him playing for Portugual’s U-20s.

“You have no idea what’s comin soon. Just wait,” wrote Dju.

Dju’s teasing Instagram post saw fellow Hammers hot prospect Grady Diangana issue a two-word message in response as he said “Yessss bro” via his verified Instagram account.

OPINION

Dju is yet to feature for the Hammers senior team since arriving at the London Stadium at the end of the January transfer window during the 2018/19 season from Portuguese side Benfica, but his reputation proceeds him. In June 2019, the Hammers winger was named on the shortlist for the prestigious Golden Boy award, as per Goal, which is an accolade that celebrates players under the age of 21-years-old that have impressed in the last calendar year. The award is so prestigious that previous winners include Lionel Messi, Wayne Rooney as well as Kylian Mbappe, so it was a pretty big deal for Dju just to make the 100-man shortlist, especially when you consider there are plenty of other youngsters able to show their talents for a senior side on a regular basis. However, it seems based on his latest Instagram post, Dju is convinced he is better than what people think and he is eager to impress. It’s debatable whether the winger will get an opportunity in Manuel Pellegrini’s side anytime soon as while the experienced boss isn’t scared of playing youngsters in his side, he has so many options to choose from on the flanks. After all, he has the talented Felipe Anderson, Andriy Yarmolenko and Robert Snodgrass to fit into his team, hence why he loaned out the very promising Diangna to West Bromwich Albion this season.
