It was a day of contrasting outcomes for Grady Diangana and his parent club on Saturday. While the young dazzler put in a tidy performance in West Brom’s 1-0 win over Middlesbrough, ultimately causing the winning goal with his persistence down the flank, limped to a sorry 2-0 defeat at the hands of Everton. After a less than impressive creative display, this contrast clearly got many thinking, and there seems to be a mounting social media movement for Diangana to be brought back to in . It’s not hard to see why. He has four goals and three assists in the Championship already this season, and is currently the second highest rated player in the division with a Whoscored rating of 7.47. Throw in 1.7 shots per game, 2.1 key passes, and 2.8 successful dribbles, and it’s fairly obvious that he has developed into a well-rounded and potent attacking force. Whether he could cut it in the  is a different question, of course, but at the very least, his current output is enough to suggest that he deserves a shot. will be praying that the Hammers leave him where he is, but if he keeps on performing how he is, these calls are only going to get louder and louder.
