West Ham fans fume over Holland inclusion for U23s

What more does Nathan Holland have to do to feature for Manuel Pellegrini’s West Ham first team tis season? The young winger has been in tremendous form for the Hammers’ U23s so far this term, and yet it appears that he’s going to have to wait another week at least to get his chance with the senior side after he was included in Friday evening’s clash with Norwich City. Barring some sort of miracle, that means he won’t play against Sheffield United on Saturday, and some fans are coming to the end of their tethers. After losing two games on the bounce, and with Felipe Anderson failing to impress in the Hammers’ 2-0 defeat to Everton last Saturday, registering a Whoscored rating of just 6.39. And while many West Ham fans are acknowledging that Holland may still be too green around the gills to start ahead of the Brazilian, there is a general sentiment that he at least deserves a spot on the bench. It’s hard to argue with that logic, and it’s even harder when you consider the fact that West Ham have been so devoid of creativity in recent weeks. Hopefully Holland gets his chance soon, or there could be riots.
