Manuel Pellegrini has a first-class relationship with the West Ham United board, according to Claret and Hugh.
The club source claim that suggestions of fresh contract talks are premature and both Pellegrini and the board are both more than content with the current situation at the London Stadium.
Claret and Hugh report that a new contract could be on the table for the Chilean next season, but that no such arrangements are set for that to happen.
Pellegrini currently has two years remaining on his West Ham deal and is on an annual wage of £8million with £2million being distributed among his backroom staff.

After it was suggested by Football Insider that David Sullivan had put a block on Pellegrini signing a new deal to extend his tenure at the club, West Ham fans will be delighted that his relationship with the board has been described as first-class. With the Chilean still having a couple of years on his current deal, it comes as no surprise to see that neither side are in a rush to put pen-to-paper on a new contract. It is clear that the West Ham board trust Pellegrini, given the amount of backing he has had in the past two summer transfer windows, in which he has broken the club’s record on three separate occasions. The West Ham board will be ecstatic with the start their club have made and that is down to the squad that Pellegrini has put together, and there is no need to change anything at this moment in time. Pellegrini will know that all he has to do is continue impressing and a new contract will sort itself out, and he will definitely deserve one.
