West Ham set to field fresh faces

|

West Ham are set to start some players who have yet to appear so far this season against Watford, according to reliable source ExWHUemployee.

The Hammers face the Hornets as they seek a first win of the season, following last week’s 1-1 draw with Brighton.

And Ex expects to see some changes.

Writing on his personal Twitter account, he said: “There are some players who make their first starts of the season today.”

OPINION

Whatever these changes turn out to be, they will probably be welcomed by the Hammers, who have made a decidedly lacklustre start to the season. After a big summer of spending they have failed to live up to the hype as of yet, although it is important to recognise that their first game of the campaign against Manchester City was about as fiery a baptism as you could ask for. The one face that supporters will be hoping to see will be that of Mark Noble. Jack Wilshere has struggled to deputise for the skipper, and as a result Declan Rice has regularly looked vulnerable in the opening stages of the season. Wilshere has made just one tackle so far this term, as per Whoscored, and the Hammers have looked rickety to say the least. Hopefully Noble starts, and hopefully he makes a difference. The Irson really need a win in this one.
