West Ham eye Tsyhankov

West Ham United representatives are scouting a couple of Dynamo Kyiv players, with wide-forward Vikor Tsyhankov said to be a prospect on their radar, according to ExWHUemployee.

The reliable club source revealed that Hammers’ scouts were in attendance at the Ukranian clubs Champions League qualifier against Club Brugge on Tuesday, with certain Kyiv players under consideration.

ExWHUemployee reported on his personal Twitter account that the 21-year-old is a “tasty prospect,” despite him starting on the bench.

The 21-year-old has been in electrifying form for Kyiv in the past year and has earned 15 caps for Ukraine, despite being born in Middle Eastern nation Israel. Tsyhankov managed to score 20 goals and add 17 assists in 46 appearances in all competitions last season.

Given the fact that Transfermarkt value the young Ukranian prospect at £18.4million, a deal for Tsyhankov is more than unlikely in the remaining two days of the window. At 21-years-old though, the Hammers could be scouting the winger for the first time and could be starting afresh report to then make a move for him next season. Andriy Yarmolenko has shown Ukrainians can make it to the Premier League at West Ham, and Tsyhankov could see that as a reason to make a potential move. Given the fact that he was involved in 37 goals from 46 appearances only proves that the youngster is a massive threat in the final third, especially from his favoured position on the right-hand side. Having 15 caps at such a young age also highlights how he is held in the highest regard in Ukraine, and enough for West Ham to justify a move whether in this window or the next, either way, Manuel Pellegrini shouldn’t hesitate in sanctioning a move for the flyer.
