Fornals sends Anderson Instagram message

Pablo Fornals has taken to Instagram to send a message to West Ham teammate Felipe Anderson.

The Brazilian midfielder posted a photo of himself to his personal account with a giant portrait of a lion alongside the caption: “Another strong corner of the house…”.

Responding to that post, Hammers teammate Fornals wrote: “Lion King”.

His taste in interior design might be questionable, but when it comes to the Hammers’ midfield, Anderson is certainly King of the Jungle. The Brazilian is a key player for Manuel Pellegrini, and when he is on top form, he can really get the Irons purring. He missed West Ham’s 1-1 draw with Brighton over the weekend due to a dead leg, and the mane thing will definitely be keeping him fit this season, but if they can do that, he will no doubt be involved in the lion’s share of goals. The 26-year-old registered 1.8 key passes and 2.1 successful dribbles per match in the Premier League last season, as per Whoscored, and his brilliance could be key again this year, or at least that’s how his manager will be feline. His attitude his second to none too, and he always plays with commitment and pride whenever he pulls on the claret and blue. Expect big things from Anderson. Without them, the Hammers will not be anywhere near their usual selves.
