Pablo Fornals sent a two-word message to West Ham to tell them he was ready after a clip of him playing football on the bench emerged.
The playmaker’s partner posted a clip of Fornals having a kick around on the beach via her Instagram story, and Fornals shared it on his Instagram story’s feed along with a message for the Hammers.
“I’m ready,” wrote Fornals, via his Instagram account, while tagging the Hammers’ official Instagram account.
Fornals is currently on holiday following his participation in the 2019 UEFA U-21s European Championships and Football.London previously reported that he is likely to make his West Ham debut against Fulham in the club’s fourth friendly of pre-season.
OPINION
While Fornals isn’t expected to make his debut for the Hammers until July 27th, when the club face Fulham, it seems he is already eager to get going. Fornals probably isn’t the only eager one regarding his arrival at the club, as many West Ham fans surely can’t wait to see him feature for Manuel Pellegrini’s side. The Hammers confirmed in June that they had signed the Spanish playmaker from Villareal for £24million, as per BBC Sport, and since that annoucement, Fornals has turned heads while featuring for Spain’s U-21s. The 23-year-old featured five times as Spain’s U-21s went onto to win the tournament and scored twice as well as assisted one. The playmaker impressively averaged a match rating of 7.62 across those appearances and even racked up a Man of the Match award for his efforts (Source: WhoScored). West Ham fans no doubt know this, and for that reason likely can’t wait to see him.
