The outlet claims that the Hammers boss is prepared to let the 21-year-old go amid plentiful interest from Championship and League One teams.
The attacker scored nine times and grabbed five assists during a loan spell with third tier side Oxford United last season, and the east London outfit are now willing to sell him for the right price.
The club have already fielded a number of enquiries for the highly-rated youngster, and Pellegrini is ready to dump him after failing to be impressed.
This is a major surprise, really. You would have thought that, after the progress Browne made out on loan with Oxford last time out, he would be given an opportunity to impress Pellegrini in pre season this summer. However, it appears that the Chilean has made a decision on him already. He is only 21 years of age, so there’s still plenty of scope for him to go on and improve in the years to come. However, West Ham have so many options in attacking midfield that perhaps Pellegrini feels Browne isn’t good enough to truly make the grade. When it comes to wide players at the London Stadium, you now have to ask whether they’re good enough to feature ahead of Felipe Anderson, Pablo Fornals, Manuel Lanzini, Michail Antonio, Andriy Yarmolenko, Robert Snodgrass and Grady Diangana? Has Browne got that kind of quality? Perhaps not, which is presumably why Pellegrini is ready to show him the door this summer.
