West Ham forward Xande Silva is reportedly suffering from a serious illness. According to reliable Irons insider ExWHUemployee, Silva has been “in and out of hospital” due to his illness, which explains why he has not taken part in any of the club’s pre-season matches. Understandably, some West Ham fans on Twitter are concerned for the 22-year-old, who has looked like a promising young talent since joining the Hammers last summer from Vitoria Guimaraes. He made his West Ham debut in the Premier League last December when he came off the bench against Burnley. Silva followed that up with his second, and most recent, appearance when he started in the FA Cup win against Birmingham in January. It’s worrying that Silva has been hospitalised due to his illness and we hope that it’s something that he can recover from soon enough. These West Ham fans are also hopeful that the Portuguese winger makes a speedy recovery and is able to regain his health soon enough.
