It is no secret that West Ham are on the lookout for a couple more signings in the remainder of the transfer window. Potential incomings would more than likely be back-up options, with Claret and Hugh reporting that Manuel Pellegrini is happy with his squad. Reliable club source ExWHUemployee reported on his personal Twitter account that the Hammers had recently sent scouts to track a friendly between PSV Eindhoven, where they cast their eye upon two young forwards – Albian Ajeti and Donyell Malen. The 20-year-old left-sided winger, Malen, failed to make it early in his career at the Arsenal academy and was sold to PSV Eindhoven, where he started to make a big impact last season. The exciting prospect made 31 appearances in the Eredivisie, mainly off the bench, and scored 10 goals while assisting a further five. The youngster averaged 3.6 shots every 90 minutes on average, as well as completing 2.6 key passes [Source: WhoScored] – stats which proves he can score goals and create them for his teammates with ease. Many West Ham fans responded to ExWHUemployee’s tweet, begging with their club to sign the young Dutchman. One called him a “baller”, while another simply told his club to sign him immediately.
