ExWHUemployee has picked out West Ham academy duo Nathan Holland and Conor Coventry as two players he would like to see in the first-team next season.
Holland is a 21-year-old left-winger, who joined the Hammers from fellow Premier League side, Everton. The forward has also featured for England at every youth level from under-16 to under-19’s.
Coventry, on the other hand, is a holding midfielder and has been called up to Ireland’s under-21 squad. The 19-year-old was a mainstay in the Hammers’ academy last season making 19 appearances.
Reliable club source ExWHUemployee picked the two on his personal Twitter account, claiming they can have the same effect on West Ham as Declan Rice, Grady Diangana, and Ben Johnson.

OPINION
There is no denying the fact that Manuel Pellegrini has helped develop talent at West Ham by integrating players into the first-team. Both Diangana and Johnson are the latest two to come in and make an impact for the Hammers, with their managers’ confidence in them being a big factor to them fitting in so well and not looking out of place at all. Academy products at West Ham will look up to their fellow youngsters who have broken into the first-team setup and hope to replicate them, knowing that good performances will more than likely get them noticed by Pellegrini. Both got off to a great start on Tuesday, as the Hammers’ under-23’s beat Reading in a friendly, which saw Holland pick up a goal, and Coventry adding an assist to his dominant display in the heart of midfield. Should they continue to impress it will come as no surprise to see the duo walkout at the London Stadium next season in the Premier League.
