Jack Sullivan has taken to Twitter to congratulate West Ham midfielder Pablo Fornals on his U21 European Championship win.
The Spanish 23-year-old played an integral role in his nation’s triumph, and Hammers’ Ladies manager Sullivan was quick to wish him well.
Writing on his personal account, Sullivan, who is also the grandson of club owner David Sullivan, wrote: “Congrats to Pablo Fornals”.
OPINION
It seems as if West Ham have already accepted Fornals into the club with open arms before a ball has even been kicked, and it’s easy to see why. The 23-year-odl is a red hot talent, and one who has the potential to elevate the quality of the Hammers’ midfield by a level or two. In the Euros alone he had a pass completion rate of 88.1%, not to mention two goals and an assist. He also wracked up an average of 1.8 key passes per match, and was dispossessed just 0.8 times per game [Whoscored]. Those are ridiculous stats, and they show a player with a whole load of promise who is already operating at a top level. The prospect of what he could bring to this side is mouthwatering, and the hope will be that he lives up to his billing. If he can, West Ham could have a new hero on their hands.
