Felipe Anderson has delivered an Instagram message to new West Ham teammate Pablo Fornals.
The Spaniard is yet to join up with his new colleagues having represented his nation in their U21 European Championships win, and with the rest of the Hammers jetting off for their preseason trip to China.
But the midfielder did post a picture from his extended summer break to his Instagram with the caption “Fin de vaccines”, meaning “End of vacations”.
And Anderson, responded with a the words “Venga venga”, meaning “Come on, come on”.
OPINION
Anderson is clearly eager to link up with Fornals, and it’s easy to see why. The prospect of the havoc they could cause together next season is enough to make your mouth water, and with those two in the side, the Hammers stand a pretty good chance of kicking on and looking for European football next season. Fornals is a talent, make no mistake about it, and if the 23-year-old can continue the form that he showed in the U21 Euros the summer, then the Hammers will have something really special on there hands. A pass completion rate of 88.1%, including 1.8 key passes per match, 2.4 shots on goal per game, a dispossession rate of just 0.8 times per 90 minutes, two goals, an assist, and a Whoscored rating of 7.62 – Fornals was one of the standout performers of the tournament. He has earned his holiday, but now it is coming to an end, expect to see him knuckling down and showing the Premier League just what he can do.
