West Ham will beat off interest from across Europe to secure a new deal for highly-rated youngster Amadou Diallo, according to ExWHUemployee.

The 16-year-old winger is understood to have been attracting interest from Spain, Germany, and France, and has been described by youth coach Jack Collison as “incredible”, as quoted by the club’s official website.

And according to reliable source ExWHUemployee, he is set to stay in east London.

Writing on Twitter, he said: “Great news that we have beaten off strong interest from top clubs in Spain, Germany, and France to get extremely talented youngster Amadou Diallo (16) to sign a new deal.

“This is a really positive move for the future and should be announced soon.”

OPINION

This is an excellent piece of business for the Hammers if it is true. Diallo is a very exciting young talent, and at just 16, he has the word at his feet. Despite his tender years, he has already made quite the impact in the Premier League 2, and hit two goals in his first three matches for the reserves last season. Highly rated by Jack Collison, who would know better than just about anybody how good the lad is, the signs are that Diallo could be a very special talent in the future. Obviously, he still has a way to go before he hits the first team, but if he continues on his current trajectory, and if he can show a fe more performances of the ilk that he was turning out towards the end of last season for the U23s, it is surely only a matter of time before he is given the nod by Manuel Pellegrini. Believe the hype on this one.
