It’s a busy old time in east London at the moment. West Ham have already made three signings this summer, and if reports are to be believed, they are looking to wrap up another two pretty quickly. According to Sky Sports journalist Kaveh Solhekol, the Hammers have had a bid accepted for Celta Vigo striker Maxi Gomez and have also made an approach of around £13 million for Eibar midfielder Joan Jordan. And it’s safe to say that supporters are fairly delighted. Jordan is a brilliantly accomplished technical player, who would be surely be an absolute steal at £13 million, especially given the inflation of today’s market. At 24, he still has a lot of growing ahead of him, but the signs are that this is a talent capable of going a long way in the game, and certainly able to cut it in the Premier League. A box to box midfielder who notched four goals and four assists last season, he would be the perfect foil for Declan Rice in the centre of the park, driving on while the Englishman sat breaking up play. Nothing is set in stone yet but you can understand why fans are so excited.
West Ham and Valencia have had £29m bids accepted by Celta Vigo for striker Maxi Gomez. Up to Gomez to decide where he wants to go. West Ham have also made £13m bid for Eibar defensive midfielder Joan Jordan.

Joan Jordan looks unreal ⚒
Joan Jordan is exactly what we need in a partnership next to Rice, tall, strong and a box to box player.
