Pellegrini revolution continues

It’s fair to say that West Ham were busy last summer.

Along with new manager Manuel Pellegrini, a glut of new arrivals were brought into the club, and the general feeling was that the Hammers were a club on the brink of a revolution.

Many of those new signings have caught the eye this season, with the likes of Lukasz Fabianski and Issa Diop quickly establishing themselves as firm fan favourites, and those who have struggled, like Jack Wilshere, have largely done so through injury rather than a lack of quality.

There is still a lot of deadwood to be cleared out of the club, granted, but the signs are that Pellegrini is really stepping things up as he looks to finally make West Ham into a side befitting the history and legacy of the club.

And it would appear that he is not anywhere near done yet.

According to reputable source Claret & Hugh, the Chilean could bring in six new players this summer, and is already putting in the hard work to ensure that he gets deals over the line as soon as possible.

Given the quality of his last set of signings, that will be enough to get West Ham fans very excited.

Six new additions, adding to the considerable core of talent that the Irons already have at their disposal, could prove to be a real game changer.

If they are prudent and considered transfers – and you would be shocked if they were anything else – then Pellegrini could turn this team into a real force.
