West Ham are in the hunt to sign Fortuna Dusseldorf attacker Benito Raman, according to the Daily Express.

The national newspaper claim that the Hammers are joined in the race for the 24-year-old winger by fellow Premier League sides Burnley, Arsenal and Everton.

The Daily Express report that Raman is rated as being worth £15million by Fortuna and noted that the German club will sell the player for a massive profit after only paying £1million for him last summer.

Ever since Manuel Pellegrini has arrived at the London Stadium, the Hammers have been linked to numerous wingers. It seems a week doesn’t go by without the Hammers reportedly being in the hunt for a new player for their flanks, and seems Raman is the latest name in the mix. The 24-year-old, who can feature on either flank as well as a centre-forward, has been in impressive form this season. Raman has been involved in 14 goals for Fortuna as he has scored 10 and assisted four across his 26 outings. It’s no surprise that this statistics have seen his value soar and with Fortuna being cash-strapped according to the Express, then the 24-year-old will likely be on the move. Whether the Hammers will be the team to win his services are debatable. The Hammers are in need of a new centre-forward rather than more wingers to add to their team, and while Raman can play as a No.9; that’s not his best position.
