West Ham must act quickly in their pursuit of Hoffenheim forward Andrej Kramaric as the 27-year-old would be able to transform their side next season.

According to Calciomercato, Kramaric is a transfer target for the Hammers and they shouldn’t waste any time as he is the ideal player for them to target.

Manuel Pellegrini needs to drastically improve his attacking options in the summer as the likes of Lucas Perez, Andy Carroll and Javier Hernandez have all not contributed enough goals when handed an opportunity.

Yet you feel based on the form Kramaric is currently showing for Hoffenheim, he could provide the goals that the Hammers are lacking.

The 27-year-old has scored 20 goals in 31 outings and can be deployed as a centre-forward, left-sided winger or attacking midfielder which means Pellegrini could easily find room for him in his team.

Aside from potentially being a game changing player due to the range of positions he can play and his goal scoring record, Kramaric will also be a fantastic signing to make as he will surely be a man on a mission.

The forward previously had a disappointing spell at Leicester City, but you feel it wasn’t all his fault.

The Foxes signed him 2015 and hardly gave him enough time or chances to prove he was cut off for the Premier League.

Kramaric played only 20 times for Leicester City, with them not all being starts, before the club ruthlessly decided to write his future off at the club and cash in on him.

Given that many probably thought his spell at the Foxes showed he wasn’t good enough for the Premier League, which is debatable especially with his form since his time in the division, Kramaric will be out to prove the doubters wrong.

So when you consider all of this the Hammers must not hesitant to make their interest concrete in Kramaric as clearly he is exactly the player they should be targeting.
