Sky Sports Reporter Bianca Westwood was the first to gloat on Twitter following West Ham’s victory over Spurs at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium on Saturday.
After one unfortunate Spurs fan compared the fixture to a ‘cup final’, Westwood replied in a fiery manner on her personal Twitter account, only to add to the response after the final whistle blew.

West Ham have once again taken a significant scalp in the Premier League, and this isn’t the first time that the Hammers have been the first side to beat a London rival in their new stadium. West Ham were also the first club to defeat Arsenal when they first moved to The Emirates, and now they’ve done the exact same to Spurs, much to the delight of the Sky Sports Reporter. It’s clear to see that Westwood wasn’t going to waste any time to reflect following West Ham’s win at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, and her response was certainly an entertaining one, unless you’re a Spurs fan, that is. The Hammers have now moved up to 11th place in the Premier League, meanwhile Spurs are now under a lot more pressure from Chelsea, after Pochettino’s men failed to defeat a valiant Pellegrini side at home. This was the first time that West Ham have beaten their London rivals in the league since a 1-0 home win back in May 2017.
