Nathan Holland is one of the most exciting young players in the West Ham Under-23s side, and it is no shock to see some fans drooling over the 20-year-old attacker after he scored a sublime goal on Monday night. Holland’s 83rd minute goal against Derby’s Under-23s side was enough to earn the young Irons side a point in Premier League 2. It is not the first time that Holland has shown his class in the development side this season and it cannot be long before Manuel Pellegrini is handing him a more senior role in his squad. The England Under-19 international has not made a senior appearance for the Hammers this season, appearing only on the bench on a handful of occasions. That is far less than he deserves because West Ham could do with his pace and skill in the Premier League. Pellegrini has nothing to lose and little to gain in the final few weeks of the campaign, why not give Holland a chance to shine?
