OPINION
West Ham United defender Angelo Ogbonna has had a bit of resurgence in form lately, and that was certainly epitomised against Manchester City in the 1-0 loss on Wednesday night. Based on the tweets from this section of fans, he is getting better with every game, and they are loving it. One supporter remarked how he was once critical of the 30-year-old, but has since said that he cannot deny how well he has been playing recently. Ogbonna has filled the absence of Fabian Balbuena incredibly well, and Manuel Pellegrini will no doubt be thankful that he has stepped up so well. He coped with everything that came his way at the Etihad, and this is quite the achievement when you look back at everything that City threw West Ham’s way on Wednesday. Pellegrini may have a bit of a selection headache once Balbuena returns, as Ogbonna has been excellent recently.
