COMMENTARY

Many West Ham fans were fuming and proceeded to tear talkSPORT broadcaster Ian Abrahams, also known Moose, apart on Twitter after he claimed it was a ‘no brainer’ decision to sell Marko Arnautovic for £35million if the player wanted to go. The reporter shared via his personal Twitter account when discussing Arnautovic’s potential exit that in his opinion it was a very easy decision to make and highlighted the player’s age as justification. This saw several Hammers supporters insult the broadcaster for his opinion while also explaining that given Arnautovic’s importance to the team and how much a potential replacement would cost, the London club shouldn’t accept the offer. It’s easy to see why fans disagree with Moose, though there’s no need for some to get personal, as given the Hammers received a £35million bid for the forward, originally reported by talkSPORT if that accepted that amount they wouldn’t have the funds to get a suitable replacement. Arnautovic is the Hammers’ main goal threat and getting a similar player through the door would cost north of £35million.
