It is no secret that West Ham United’s midfield is one of the worst hit in regards to injuries, with Jack Wilshere, Carlos Sanchez and Andriy Yarmolenko currently on the sidelines.

Manuel Pellegrini is painfully short in terms of reinforcements in this area – so he must consider a swoop this month in order to rectify the situation.

In order to fix this issue, the Chilean must make a swoop for Manchester United midfielder Marouane Fellaini, a player who could be offloaded in this transfer window according to the Daily Mail.

Well, what a coup it would be if the Hammers managed to pull off this signing.

Fellaini has largely been a player who blows hot and cold – you never now what sort of form he is going to be when he comes on – but if the midfield powerhouse is in good form, then the opponents certainly know about it.

His impact often makes a huge difference to the result of games, as he can often pop up with a goal which can sometimes end up as being the match winner.

However, Fellaini has become accustomed to the bench a lot more than he would have liked this season, which is why the Irons must take advantage.

Seeing as the Red Devils want to offload him, there could not be a better time to pounce on a player who has also impressed on the international stage with Belgium.

He will definitely want to move to a team who can offer him increased first team opportunities, and with West Ham’s present injury list, that does not look like it will be a problem at the London Stadium.

In fact, this is a swoop that will leave the fans salivating, so the club must move for the ace as soon as possible.
