West Ham fans have got their first taste of young striker Xande Silva in recent weeks, with the 21-year-old making his debut and first start for the club earlier this month. The Portuguese forward started in the last round of the FA Cup – a 2-0 win over Birmingham City – and many therefore expected him to start again when the Hammers face AFC Wimbledon on Saturday. That is however not the case, with manager Manuel Pellegrini omitting Silva completely from the match day squad. Many fans are clearly not happy with that decision, and have made their feelings known on Twitter. It is easy to see why these supporters are not happy with Pellegrini’s decision, with Silva showing some real glimpses of his talent in his first two appearances for the Hammers. His prolific form for the Under-23s has got fans talking, and they are simply keen to see him replicate that for the senior side.
