Isn’t anyone surprised that West Ham defender Issa Diop has founds making best in the world claims left right and centre after his display against Newcastle United? Surely not. The centre-back was amazing during the Hammers 3-0 win over the Magpies and the fan who posted a picture of a wall with the players name and shirt number was spot-on to do so. Diop was letting nothing past him on Saturday and the Magpies were no doubting cursing his name and thankful they’re not facing him again soon. While one supporter claimed Diop was the best centre-back in the world, another had him winning the World Cup with France in the future as they thought he was that good on Saturday. It says a lot that the fan who claimed Diop was at least one of the best central defenders in the Premier League was being rather modest compared to others with their praise, as it shows how impressive he was in his latest outing.
