OPINION
Another game another dominant performance from Declan Rice. The young midfielder was superb once again in West Ham’s 3-2 win over Crystal Palace on Saturday, setting the tone and dominating the action in the middle of the park. There aren’t many defensive midfielders playing at a higher level than the 19-year-old in the Premier League at the moment. For that reason you can see why the Hammers supporters are so pleased with him once again. In a first half where many West Ham players underperformed, he got on with his job and put a fine shift in. He was arguably at fault for James McArthur’s opener for Palace, but he didn’t let that deter him. He simply rolled his sleeves up and got on with the task at hand. He is a credit to the football club and Saturday’s display was another indication of why. He is going from strength to strength in the Hammers midfield and Palace were the latest team to find that out.

@_DeclanRice what a player already. I’ve never seen a young player come through and be as comfortable as he is so quick. No doubt his going to the top.
