London Stadium would erupt with joy if West Ham were able to welcome Brazilian attacker Gabriel Barbosa to the club in the near future.

Gabrial Barbosa, better known as Gabigol, is a silky-skilled forward who has been stealing the show for his side this season by being in prolific form.

The 22-year-old, who is currently on loan at Brazilian club Santos from Inter Milan, has scored 16 goals in 31 appearances for his temporary club in 2018 and generally wowed supporters with the way he has gone about it.

Gabigol regularly demonstrates enough skilful moments in a match to form a highlight reel and he’s a type of player who’d get Hammers fans salivating over the thought of seeing him every week.

The 22-year-old is able to be deployed as a centre-forward, a right-winger or an attacking midfielder and he could significantly boost the Hammers’ goal threat if recruited.

Manuel Pellegrini doesn’t have many prolific players to choose from and could do with a lethal finisher, as well as entertaining, player coming to the London Stadium.

Despite Gabigol fantastic form out on loan, Calciomercato reported that Inter Milan were seeking £17.5million for the player’s service which implies they’d be willing to cash in on him.

It was previously reported by Goal Brasil that the Hammers, Crystal Palace and Everton were all in the race to sign him as the Premier League trio had all had contact with his agent Kia Joorabchian.

Therefore the Hammers appear to have a chance of welcoming such an exciting prospect to the club and they simply must win the race to sign the show-stealing talent as the London Stadium would go wild.
