West Ham United boss Manuel Pellegrini has already blooded young midfielder Declan Rice into the first team after placing his faith in him.

Now he must do the same with under-23s winger Xande Silva.

He has already been blowing people away with his electric performances, must notably on his debut for the youth side – but he suffered a recent setback after injuring his ankle.

However, reliable insider Claret and Hugh have reported that the 21-year-old is on the road to recovery and is set to make a return to training on Monday (12/11).

Following this excellent update, Pellegrini must be bold in his decision-making by unleashing the young talent after the international break in a move that will cause the London Stadium to erupt.

Now that Grady Diangana has been introduced into the first team fold, it could not be a better opportunity to get some more youth players involved with the team.

This process may save millions for West Ham, and it is not like they are taking a major risk here – after all, Silva is most definitely an up and coming prospect.

We know that he can score goals on a regular basis as well as provide a genuine source of attacking threat, and what a better way to unleash that talent by introducing him to some Premier League football.

If Rice and Diangana’s progress is anything to go by, then Silva is set to take the league by storm – especially now that Andriy Yarmolenko is out for the rest of the season.

Yes, the Irons already have some incredible technical ability in the shape of Felipe Anderson – but adding the 5ft 7in [Transfermarkt] ace into the mix will really get some pulses racing.
