OPINION

Well this is a pleasant Twitter exchange by all accounts especially if you’re a West Ham fan. Browne has been shining bright while on loan at Oxford United this season and it seems Ferdinand has noticed the youngster efforts. The 20-year-old has racked up six goals, as well as three assists, in 19 matches and that’s only a small reflection of how well he is doing on loan. The player currently in red-hot form after scoring twice against Rochdale in his latest display, as well as generally running the show. It was very impressive how Browne was able to quickly recover from injury as well, and lose none of his momentum, as he did have to sit a few league games out for Oxford recently after suffering an issue. Hopefully Ferdinand is right to highlight Browne’s form as it would be nice to see him break in the Hammers’ first team upon returning from his loan spell. The 20-year-old is an exciting talent who has bags of tricks and could easily get crowds off their feet at the London Stadium if he able to deliver the goods in the Premier League, just like he’s currently doing in League One.
